MISSON: AFRICA!
We believe that every church fellowship should support a missionary outreach. Ours is The Gospel for Africa, a large fellowship that works through out the entire continent.
The extraordinary couple who run this church are Bishop Josiah Pah Senior and his wife. They have 22 churches, 3 orphanages and 5 schools for hundreds of children in need.
The Recovery Churches of America have been supporting Bishop Pah's work for nearly ten years with gifts to help them feed their orphans.
Recently we received this letter from Right Reverend Pah:
My Dear Bishop McDaniels,
Greetings from the GFA of Liberia, West Africa. It is very regrettable and saddened to have you all
informed that about 2am this morning our Liberian time 7 armed robbers forcefully break into our home through the back door, and put us at gun point, tied us,threatened to kill us if we ever call for help or make noise.
They came in our yard in a black jeep, indeed, they took all our food, cash money, computers, and most of our belongings. They also entered where the orphans are staying, and took away all food for the orphans. Up to the time of this writing, the police has not arrested any one as yet.
Three of my 6 girls got seriously hurt, and the orphan children.
During the Liberian civil war which lasted for some 15 years, wife, children and myself remained in Liberia.
As you now then know that there 8 warring factions, fighting each other, killing one another, destroying life and properties. We witnessed and saw everything concerning the 15 years of civil war. We saw for our selves all the brutal killings in Liberia.
During the said civil war, were very busy planting churches, doing evangelism and placing Bibles and Literature in the hands of war torn Liberians and Christians. To the end of the 15 years of war, our people elected us to serve as member of the Liberian parliament, and serving as the Chairman of state owned Enterprises and Public Corperations.
I also served as a member of the Liberian Constitution Reform Commission, and an Executive Member of the Liberian Council of Churches. Presently, i am the Presiding Prelate for the Gospel For Africa Churches&Ministries, with 22 Churches and 5 christian schools. All of these churches and Christian schools are not developed and are very poor.
Just the last time the deadly Ebola virus entered Liberia and many died from this sickness and many fled from Liberia, but, I, Bishop Pah and my family again remained in Liberia. With all the sufferings and hardships, we remained with the churches and schools even though some of our members and clergy died from the deadly Ebola. But we were still here.
Sorry to say that we stand in need of help for food, and as well funds to take the hurting children and orphans to the hospital. At this writing, we have no food, and money to start off
with no computer and other important things.
Please help, We need your help.

Bishop Josiah Pah
